Maybe the worst is really more of a melding of anticipation and the start of the rough stuff glommed together. There are enough different brands of rough stuff, though, that actually it might be overly pat to try to make generalizations about bad times at all. I really appreciate your perspective on this! From the picture of you I can glean from your writing here, you might be the kind of person who is more adept at ignoring those silly Damocles swords than most. Which would be a good trait to have.
