I'll admit that 1)I wondered about Mr. Robot here (in a good way), and 2)"1337 h4xor" made me smile, because a group of us used to use that as a joke for a friend of ours who thought he knew everything about computers and programming (of course, he did not, and ended up getting fired for being a total show-off).
Also, I live in the suburbs of Maryland, so, you had me from the first line there. :)
But this is very intriguing and well-written, and I love how the two parts tie together. I think this is a great take on the topic!
