For me, I would say it is a total mixed bag with the pandemic and short and long term thinking. When I was working from home, even though the workload actually increased, not having to drive everywhere all the time gave me so much more time that I could use to slow down and do good short term things, like cooking at home and noticing my yard and the plants in it and taking care of them day to day. But slowing down and especially talking to a pair of young teens/tweens all the time it was impossible not to think a lot about long term, too.
