I'm also a slow runner- really more of a fast walker than a runner at all. Though my last 5k was in April, and something came over me where I was just booking through the course. Not running, never running, but I had a bounce in my step. Maybe there is hope I'll get faster! Ironically, as we were prepping for the race the day before, my mom took a big spill - horizontally. It was bad enough that her fitbit asked if she needed to call 911 (a feature I didn't know existed). So yes, I think maybe I can go faster, but I'm also not in a rush to move more quickly than I should, because I think that's what takes you horizontal in the first place.
